we’re always expected to lower our standards bc people either don’t believe we deserve more or think we’re responsible for coddling other’s inability to rise to the occasion.
but we deserve the best. we deserve everything we desire. we do not deserve to continue to put ourselves and our happiness on the line for others who probably wouldn’t do the same for us. we don’t have to keep sacrificing ourselves
